Pool D's opening action produced the highest tally of goals since the tournament began last Saturday

The African Nations Championship witnessed a goal fest when Pool D action took place on Tuesday 19 January 2021 in Limbe, Cameroon.

Zambia got the day's action underway with a 2-0 win over Tanzania courtesy of second-half goals from captain Collins Sikombe and Emmanuel Chabula.

Yakhouba Barry's brace and Morlaye Sylla 's lone goal gave Guinea a 3-0 win over Namibia in the second pool fixture.
