CAVB Men's Club Championship: GSU recover as KPA tumble

They lost the first set 23-25 before winning the next three sets 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18 and need a win over Rwanda’s Espoir to secure a berth in the quarterfinals.

Kenyan champions GSU registered their first win at the CAVB Africa Men’s Club Championship in Tunis, Tunisia, defeating Nigeria Customs 3-1 on Monday.  They had lost their opening set 0-3 to Zamalek on Monday.

They lost the first set 23-25 before winning the next three sets 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18 and need a win over Rwanda’s Espoir to secure a berth in the quarterfinals.

Kenya’s other representatives, KPA who had started their campaign with a 3-2 win over APR of Rwanda were no match for home side Esperance who blanked them 3-0.
