Bungoma who have 45 points against their name are scheduled to host the Eldoret based Solasa Stima Queens with Gideon who have 46 points taking on Kisped on Saturday.

Bungoma Queens head coach Robert Machio is confident that the team will win the final round of the season and secure promotion to the women's Premier League.

The Football Kenya Federation Division One, Zone B league will get to its business end this weekend with two clubs battling for the available automatic promotion slot.

The second placed Bungoma and log leaders Gideon Starlets are in prime position to get promoted this weekend but first things first as the two have to win the final round.

Bungoma who have 45 points against their name are scheduled to host the Eldoret based Solasa Stima Queens with Gideon who have 46 points taking on Kisped on Saturday.

Ahead of the D-day, Machio is confident that his girls will carry the day and get the ticket to play in the top flight next season.

This will only come to pass if they win and Gideon falls to Kisped who are placed third with 42 points from twenty games.

"I am sure we will win the game and get promoted. We have a good record when playing at home. I hope we will make the advantage of playing at home count," he said.

Should Gideon beat Kisped, they will secure automatic promotion with Bungoma having to confirm their place in the top league in the playoff.

" Even if we finish second, we will have a chance to fight in the playoff,"he added.

Meanwhile, Kibera Soccer Ladies have secured promotion to the FKFWPL with an unassailable four-point lead in the Women’s Division One league Zone A.

Kibera were relegated in the 2020/21 season.
