Kakamega Homeboyz halted Kenya Police five games winning streak with an extra time goal from Moses Shumah to secure a 1- 1 draw.

Tusker FC capped off the year with an impressive comeback, coming from a goal behind to beat Posta Rangers 3 – 1 on Saturday at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Tusker coach Charles Okere maintained the same line up that secured him three points against Bidco United in their previous match. The team was keen to secure the win from onset and had some early chances in the match, with Dennis Wanjala striking his shot just inches over the bar and Shaphan Siwa forcing the goalkeeper into a brilliant double save. George Kaddu also came close with a header that went wide, but it was Posta Rangers who were the first to break the deadlock in the 32nd minute, when Ivan Ochieng’ headed in a corner.

However, Tusker responded immediately with Ryan Ogam levelling the score with a brilliant shot inside the box after a great play from right back Thomas Omole. Just two minutes later, the Brewers took the lead after Thomas Teka headed in Dennis Wanjala’s corner kick from the far end.

In the second half, Posta Rangers came out strong, looking for an equalizer, but Tusker’s defense held firm. The Brewers could’ve doubled their lead in the 68th minute after an Omole And Ogam combination again, but Ogam’s shot went wide.

Tusker finally sealed the game in the 86th minute when Captain Charles Momanyi jumped high over Rangers defense to head in debutant Yusuf Mainge’s cross. Notably, forward Ryan Ogam has now scored 13 goals in 14 matches and tops the top scorers’ chart. With the win, the Brewers now have 27 points as we head into the festive season break.

In Machakos still, Kakamega Homeboyz halted Kenya Police five games winning streak with an extra time goal from Moses Shumah to secure a 1- 1 draw. Police had earlier on taken the lead in the 85th minute through Erick Zakayo.

In Dandora, a 33rd minute goal from Brian Ouru sunk Shabana and gave Mathare United their first win in six games.
