Brazil Coach Tite names 2022 World Cup Squad

Arsenal's duo of Gabriel Jesus and Martinelli have made the cup for the FIFA 2022 World Cup Squad

Brazil head coach, Tite, has announced the list of 26 players who will travel to Qatar for the World Cup. The list has 16 players who will compete in the World Cup for the first time.

Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal has made the final squad but teammate Gabriel Magalhães and Roberto Firmino of Liverpool were not selected.

Manchester United trio Casemiro, Fred and Antony are in as well Liverpool duo of Alisson and Fabinho.

39-year old Dani Alves  and Chelsea's Thiago Silva who is 38 years old have made the talent loaded squad.

Brazil is the most succesful team in the World Cup history and will be out to make it six trophies in the 2022 tournament that runs from 20 November to 18 December 2022 in Qatar.

Coach Tite, who is leaving his job after the tournament has insisted he won’t shy away from his aggressive playing style in Qatar, regardless of who Brazil is playing. Brazil is in Group G at the World Cup with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.

“We will make adjustments, we will not change our game plan,” Tite said. “We will impose our way of playing.”
