Blow for Stars as another defender is ruled out
Key defender Joash Onyango will miss tonight's match against Algeria as he has picked an ankle injury .
The national soccer team camp has been dealt a major blow following the ruling out of key defender Joash Onyango who twisted his ankle during the team's last training session in Cairo.
The injury effectively rules him out of the Algeria match. Already, Brian Mandela, another experienced player is out after he sustained a nasty knee injury during training in Paris France.He later underwent a successful surgery in France and has since joined the team in Cairo for morale support.
At the same time , winger Ayub Timbe is yet to regain 100pc fitness after returning from a long spell out with injury and Migne confirmed that he is not yet a 90 minute player and might use him for a maximum 60 minutes.
Kenya will be facing Algeria in the first Group C fixture on Sunday 11:00PM.
