Despite a brave effort, Kenya Police Bullets narrowly missed the title, falling to Ethiopia's CBE by a single goal in the finals

Kenya Police Bullets FC head coach, Beldine Odemba, has urged her team to shift their focus to the upcoming Women’s Premier League in Kenya, following their commendable performance at the recently concluded CECAFA Women's Championship in Ethiopia.

Despite a brave effort, Kenya Police Bullets narrowly missed the title, falling to Ethiopia's CBE by a single goal in the finals, which cost them a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Speaking at the award ceremony, where she was named the tournament’s Best Coach, Odemba emphasized the importance of teamwork in their success. “Winning Coach of the Tournament is a reflection of our collective effort. It shows how well we worked together, and how the players gave their all on the pitch. A coach can only shine if the players perform,” she remarked.

Looking ahead, Odemba added, “As soon as we return home, our focus will shift back to the league, which is about to start. We aim to push harder this time, win it better this time, and once again compete in the CECAFA Championships, with the goal of bringing the title home.”

At the same time, Police Bullets goalkeeper Annedy kwamasi Kundu who was inspirational throughout the championship was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
