Kenya Police FC’s new signing, Mohammed Bajaber, marked an impressive debut by scoring his first goal for the club as they triumphed 2-0 over Bidco United at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Bajaber found the back of the net in the 69th minute, converting a Low shot into the net after a brilliant cross from Alvin Mang’eni. With Bidco failing to clear the ball, David Ilishura quickly set up Bajaber, who made no mistake in finishing.
Just three minutes later, Police struck again. Goalkeeper Job Ochieng’ launched a long ball to striker David Simiyu, who showcased individual brilliance, weaving through defenders to score a spectacular solo goal and seal the victory.
Meanwhile, in Mara, AFC Leopards secured a 2-1 win over Mara Sugar. The match saw defender Peter Maker score his first goal for the club, giving them the lead in the 18th minute. However, Mara Sugar responded in the 58th minute, equalizing with a header. The game was finally decided in the 80th minute when Maxwell Otieno was fouled in the box, and Kayci Odhiambo made no mistake from the penalty spot to restore Leopards’ lead. Despite a late push from Mara, the Ingwe defense held firm to secure all three points away from home.
