Harambee Stars striker Ayub Timbe scored his debut goal in the China League One but it was not enough as his side Heilongjiang Lava Spring went down 2-1 to Zhejiang Greentown at the Yellow Dragon Sports Center on Saturday 7th April.

South African Dino Ndlovu's brace scored in the 25th and 64th minute gave Zhejiang Greentown a head start but Timbe's effort in the 86th minute came on a little bit too late for his side to salvage a point.

The loss leaves Heilongjiang Lava Spring  dangling just a slot above the relegation zone in the China League One table.

Timbe is on loan at the second tier China League One or Chinese Jia League  side Heilongjiang Lava Spring from  Beijing Renhe FC which plays in the top league.

He finds himself in a similar promotion fight off situation with  Heilongjiang Lava Spring as he  was instrumental in the Beijing Renhe FC’s promotion to the top league last season when he bagged eight goals and several assists thus  earning praise from his teammates but an injury forced him out at the tail end of the season.
