Administration Police Service (APS) Bomet Football Club has announced that it has entered into a sponsorship deal worth Ksh 5.5 million with netting firm, WR Bet, for the remainder of 2024/2025 season. In addition to that, WR Bet will also provide Ksh 270,000 for new kits for the team.
The collaboration is aimed at supporting APS Bomet's growth and helping them achieve their goal of promotion to Kenya’s top-tier league, the FKF Premier League. WR Bet Regional Director Vadim Daianov expressed confidence in the team’s potential, hoping that the partnership will contribute to their long term success.
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Stephen Etyang, welcomed the sponsorship, saying it would motivate the team in their remaining matches of the season as they push for promotion. APS Bomet CEO Rose Chemtai also expressed gratitude, noting that this sponsorship is a significant boost for the team, which has struggled financially in the past.
The sponsorship will go towards enhancing the team’s training facilities, providing modern kits, and expanding outreach programs to engage underserved communities. APS Bomet is currently second in the National Super League standings with 50 points, just one point behind leaders Nairobi United.
