Kimani joins the national team’s technical bench under newly appointed head coach Benni McCarthy.
Former Bandari FC, Ulinzi Stars and Kenya Police FC coach Antony Kimani has been named the second assistant coach of the Kenya national football team, Harambee Stars.
Kimani joins the national team’s technical bench under newly appointed head coach Benni McCarthy. He will work alongside first assistant coach Vasili Manousakis and other technical staff as the team prepares for upcoming international assignments, including the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
A former midfielder for the Harambee Stars, Kimani brings both playing and coaching experience to the role, having previously served in various technical capacities at top-tier Kenyan clubs.
His appointment is part of Football Kenya Federation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the national team’s bench with local expertise ahead of a busy competitive calendar.
