African representatives learn their opponents as FIFA World Cup draw conducted
Senegal are in Group A for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

African champions Senegal are in the same pool with hosts Qatar, three time losing finalists Netherlands and Ecuador.

The five African representatives have learnt their opponents for November’s FIFA World Cup following completion of the draw held in Doha, Qatar on Friday 1 April 2022.

Tunisia have been drawn in Group D alongside defending champions France, Denmark and the winner of the first Intercontinental playoff.

Morocco are in Group F with Belgium, Croatia and Canada as Cameroon find themselves in Group G alongside Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland.

Group H sees Ghana face Uruguay who denied them a semifinal slot at the 2010 tournament in South Africa. Portugal and South Korea complete the group’s composition.
