Kenya, who are in group two of the men's team draw are up against Egypt and Ghana while the women are in group two of the women's team draw alongside Nigeria, Uganda, Tunisia and Algeria.
The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) African Table Tennis Championships began in Yaounde, Cameroon on Wednesday 1 September and will run until 7 September.
This tournament was to be played in 2020 but postponed due to the Covid 29 pandemic.
