AFC Leopards has announced that they have secured the services of right fullback Fredrick Alushula from Football Kenya Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks on a two year contract. Alushula, who will don the number 3 shirt, has already joined the squad and is excited to begin his journey with the club.
The 26-year-old player, who has shown tremendous skill and consistency in the league, expressed his enthusiasm about joining AFC Leopards. Speaking during his unveiling, Alushula said, "I'm happy to join AFC Leopards and I am looking forward to winning trophies with the club. I like the team's style of play. There's a lot of quality in the team."
Alushula also highlighted his belief in the team’s potential to lift the FKF Premier League title this season. "Looking at the league table, the team has the potential of lifting the FKF-PL this season. There’s also a lot of competition among my new teammates, which will make me improve as a player," he added.
With pressure often associated with playing for a big club like AFC Leopards, Alushula shared a calm and confident perspective. "If you do the right thing as a player, there will definitely be very little pressure. I strive to work hard and play well according to the technical bench's instructions."
