AFC Leopards will wait longer for their first goal and win in the 2023-2024 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season after playing Muhoroni Youth to a barren draw in round three at the Kasarani Stadium last weekend.

Soon after the referee blew the final whistle, thousands of Ingwe faithfuls were in song demanding for the resignation of coach Tom Juma who is yet to inspire the club to a win so far.

Leopards played Talanta to a barren draw in round one before losing 2-1 to KCB in the subsequent match.

Following the result in round three, it means that the former champions will have stretched their winless start as they continue struggling to find rhythm.

Another side waiting for the maiden win in the season is Kenya Police who needed a late goal to salvage a point at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homabay where they played Shabana to a 1-1 draw.

The game was destined for a barren draw only for Shabana to break the deadlock in the 88th minute through Peter Ogechi with Clinton Kinanga equalizing at the death for Police.

Similarly, Ulinzi Stars remain winless after losing 1-0 to Bandari at Mbaraki Stadium. Abdallah Hassan struck the match-winning goal to hand his side the second win of the season.

In other matches played on Saturday, Kakamega Homeboyz hit Tusker 2-1 at Bukhungu Stadium to register the first win of the season.

Goals from Moses Shumah and Ambrose Sifuna reduced Erick Zakayo's strike to a mere consolation.

Bidco United held Nzoia Sugar to a 1-1 draw at the Sudi Stadium. The hosts scored through Daniel Wafula with Bidco findithe back of the net courtesy of Desmond Agofa
