The FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee convened on Thursday, 16th January 2025, to review several cases brought to their attention regarding National Super League and FKF Division One matches.
National Super League side 3K FC was found guilty of hooliganism following their match against Kibera Black Stars FC, including a field invasion and physical attacks on match officials. As a result, the Committee docked 3K FC two points and two goals, in accordance with FKF regulations. Additionally, the club will be required to cover any repair costs following damage at Embu Stadium pending an independent damage assessment.
In another decision, Muhoroni Youth FC was held responsible for the abandonment of their match against Darajani Gogo FC after presenting a sub-standard (Size 4) match ball, failing to replace it with the required Size 5 ball. The match was awarded to Darajani Gogo FC with a 2-0 victory.
The Committee also ruled on several abandoned FKF Division One matches. Sigalagala Polytechnic FC, Vegpro FC and Young Bulls FC were each found responsible for abandoning their respective matches. As a result, Kiminini Combined FC, Green Commandos FC and Kibra United FC were awarded the matches with 3 points and 2-0 wins.
