KMSF Officials during the signing

Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) has signed an ambitious 5 year, 3 months rental agreement to relocate to new offices situated at Sikh Supreme Council of Kenya building at Sikh Union Club in Nairobi.

The signing ceremony of the lease took place yesterday at the boardroom of the premises of Sikh Supreme Council located on Forest Road.

KMSF Chairman JS Vohra who was accompanied by the Federation’s Director Bob Dewar said the commencement of lease is with effect from November 1, 2014.

KMSF has for the past eight years been based at Metropolitan Estate at Nairobi’s Riverside Drive in close proximity to Chiromo campus, where it had relocated from its initial headquarters at Toyota Kenya showroom building along Uhuru Highway.

Vohra, an accomplished hotelier, said the new offices are advantageous in the day to day activities of KMSF as they are located not only in a conducive environment but ones which are more spacious, with ample space for parking besides having an approachable accessibility.

Sikh Union Club’s new Chairman Pritpal Singh Kalsi who was flanked by his Hon. Secretary Kuljeet PS Dhami “Bob” during the ceremony said: “Today we’ve just handed over the bottom part of this building to KMSF. They are going to have their registered offices in Sikh Union Club as from 1st of November, 2014. This lease is for 5 years and three months and we take this early opportunity to welcome the federation to the new rental offices for their operations.”

Asked what KMSF’s presence in the premises meant to the Club, Kalsi gave a comprehensive response: “It’s a great honor for the Sikh Union given that Motorsport has all along been part and parcel of the Club's activities. We are very enthusiastic about motorsports and given that we are gearing up to run the prestigious Nanak rally for the 35th year, KMSF tenancy will give us a very big boost as we will have many more functions coming along.”
