It will be a battle of the undefeated when Kenya Police take on Greensharks in the men Hockey premier league on Saturday evening.

It has been over a month since the last league matches were played to pave way for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations which were slated to kick off on the 26th of September at the city park Stadium. The games have since been moved to a later date owing to the recent terror attacks witnessed in the country.

Police are riding on one of their best forms since winning the league two years ago while possessing the best defensive and offensive records in the league.

Keeper Kayieko of the national team has only let in three goals in their opening 100% winning streak in the six games they have played so far. They top the table with 18 points. The defensive record can also be credited to Captain Richard Birir in partnership with Sammy Oungo and Brian Saina.

Linus Sang the other national team custodian who has let in second fewest goals (5) will be up against the toughest challenge in the season so far. Defender and Captain Tony Nyikuri will have to be alert if the team’s undefeated run has to continue.

They have nine points from five matches.

Whatever happens, it promises to be a cracker of a match,
