Kenyan striker Ayub Timbe Masika just took a minute in the pitch to score for his Belgian club KRC Genk against Swiss side Luzern in the Europa League play-offs second leg match on Thursday evening at  the Cristal Arena in Belgium. Genk lost 2-1 in the first leg but managed  to overturn the result  for a 3-2 aggregate win.

The visitors gave a good fight but until the 37th minute when Dimitar Rangelov was red carded. This allowed Genk take over control  of the game for the remaining period.  Ayub Timbe's teammate Dani Fernández put Genk ahead in the  56th minute  after finishing off a corner.

Masika came on as a late sub for Kennedy Nwanganga in the 86th minute and wasted no time in  doubling the  advantage two minutes to end of normal regulation time.This was his debut match in the Europa League.

Genk now awaits the  UEFA Europa League group stage draw that will take place on Friday 31st Augist at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco with eight past winners involved. KRC Genk are in pot 3.
