Kenya Handball team on winning note in Ethiopia

The Kenya National Handball Men’s team began their Zone five all African Games qualification quest on a winning note beating neighbors Uganda 25-18 in a pool A Match played in Addis Ababa on Tuesday.

Kenya is drawn in pool A that also includes Uganda and Rwanda.

In Pool B action also played on Tuesday, hosts Ethiopia began on a losing note  going  down to Burundi 23-25 in a closely fought match. Pool B consists of hosts Ethiopia, Burundi and Djibouti.

There are only three teams in the women’s category Kenya, Uganda and host Ethiopia.
