Karen Country Club

Karen Country Club was founded in 1937 by a family. It is known to be one of the oldest golf clubs in the country. It is an 18-hole golf course, a large part of which was a former coffee estate developed by Karen Blixen, a Dane. The maintenance of the golf course depicts The Professional Golf Association (PGA) Standards. The Karen Country Club has hosted the prestigious Barclays Kenya Open for three consecutive years. The golf course has serene setting; with the Ngong hills as a backdrop, a rich variety of trees, indigenous forest, flouring shrubs, and fauna.
