Logarusic happy with win

Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic has said he is happy winning against AFC leopards and booking a slot in the finals of the FKF Cup match which will be played at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani on Tuesday. K’Ogalo bounced back from last weekend’s disappointment to beat Leopards 2-1 and book a date with either league champions Tusker or 2010 Champions Sofapaka.

“It was a 50-50 match and anybody would have won it. I cannot say we were the better side but the most important thing is we scored two goals at the right time. We now look onto the finals on Tuesday and we will be ready for whichever team comes,” he adds.

Logarusic was forced into an early sub after Danni Sserunkuma picked up an injury and though he says that tilted his pre match strategy, he was happy with Lavatsa’s play for almost 75 minutes he played.

“Of course when you are forced into an early sub you have to disorganize your previous plan. I am happy however that Lavatsa came in and did really well,” he adds.
