With the national team headed to Moroni for the return leg of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Comoros, the Kenyan Premier League will take a back seat to also give room for the second round of the 2014 Gotv Shield Cup.

There will be 20 matches spread across four days starting Friday  through to Monday 2nd June.

The winners of this round will qualify to the next round where they will meet other teams that were given bys. These include AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia Shabana, Finlays Horticulture Zoo Kericho, Muhoroni Youth, University of Nairobi's Wazito FC , Ulinzi Stars and Ulinzi Warriors, Intercity, Administration Police and Nairobi Stima.
