Wilshere signs three year contract with West Ham

West Ham have announced the capture of former Arsenal Midfielder Jack Wilshere on a three-year contract deal after he was released by Arsenal.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been a Gunner for the last 17 years, joining the club as a nine-year-old from his old club West Ham. He left the Gunners last month after his contract expired, bringing to an end a 17-year stint.

"It feels good, it feels special," said Wilshere on the West Ham website. "Many people know that I've had a special bond with this club growing up."

He is now set to fly out to Switzerland, linking up with the West Ham squad as well as the New manager Manuel Pellegrini in their preseason tour.
