Chelsea confirm Sarri as new head coach
Maurizio Sarri brings a successful three-year stint at Serie A side Napoli to an end as he moves to the Bridge as Chelsea head coach.
The Italian manager will now replace Antonio Conte who was shown the exit door after he finished fifth in the Premier League campaign despite winning the FA and the Premier League the previous season.
Sarri, 59, redirected the fortunes of Napoli during his time there taking them back to the champions league as well well as making them title contenders again.
He will now take charge at the helm of Chelsea technical bench after signing a three-year contract. Sarri will report on duty on Monday ahead of the preseason tour in Australia.
