Big pay day awaits 2014 basketball Champions

The 2014 season of the Kenya Basketball Federation league is expected to be historic as the winning teams will for the first time ever walk home with a heavy pay cheque. This is after the league received the first ever big sponsorship last week with DSTV and SuperSport announcing an 8 Million shillings sponsorship while Menengai Oil added 4 Million shillings making it twelve Million in total.

 Michezoafrika.com has reliably learned that the league winning men’s team will walk home with one Million shillings at the end of the season while women champions will take home 600,000 shillings. Men runners up will receive half a million shillings and women’s runner’s up will pocket 300,000 shillings.
