Nigerians land in Nairobi for U-17 world Cup qualifier

The Nigerian Falcones -The U-17 national women soccer team- arrived in Nairobi on Friday morning a few hours ahead of Saturday’s U-17 world Cup qualifier against their hosts Kenya .The first leg match will be played in Nairobi at the Nyayo stadium starting 4:00pm Saturday and the return leg played in Nigeria two weeks later with the winner of both legs qualifying to the third round of the qualifiers.

The Nigerian team will train at the match venue Nyayo national stadium later at 4:00PM in readiness for the match. Kenya will also hold a session at the same venue at 2:00pm.

Nigeria are the former world champions in the U-17 age category and have played in two previous U-17 finals. They reached the quarterfinals in the 2010 tournament played in Trinidad and Tobago.
