Coach Florence Adhiambo has named her final team of eighteen players set to fight out for next round qualification in the world Cup qualifying match against Zambia to be played in Nairobi at the Nyayo stadium on Saturday.

Neddy Atieno will captain the team that will miss the services of Jackline Ogol who could not recover in time for the match.Ogol sustained a knee injury during the first leg match in Lusaka in a match that Kenya lost 2-1 and will be looking up for a convincing victory to qualify on a better goal aggregate. A win for Kenya over Zambia on Saturday will ensure Kenya qualify for the next stage and could face either Tunisia or Morocco in the next stage of the qualifier enroute to Japan for the 2012 U-20 FIFA women’s world Cup.

The coach has shown undisputed confidence in the squad, that will hold their final session on Friday morning at the Nyayo National Stadium before their do or die game.

“I believe in this squad more than ever. They have been showing a lot of improvement ever since the Lusaka encounter and I can promise that the Zambians are in for a dance,” said the head coach, Florence Adhiambo.

“We have sealed off the few errors we had during our first leg match in Zambia. We won’t see a recap of the same this weekend. I see a 3-0 score line in our favor ”

The team will however miss the services of Jackline Ogol who is nursing a knee injury and has therefore been ruled out.
