Bring it on Nigeria - Kenyan ladies tell Falcons

Updated on 20/01/12  |    By MICHEZOAFRIKA

The Kenya national Under 17 girl’s team has vowed to down Nigeria on Saturday when they play in a World Cup Qualifier at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Speaking to Michezoafrika.com after their last training session this afternoon at the Nyayo Stadium, Captain Catherine Osiche has vowed to lead her charges to drown the Nigerians and has asserted confidence that they are not cowed by Nigeria’s Stature in African soccer.

“We are not afraid of them, they are ladies like us and I know that we can beat them with the help of God. We have prepared well, the coaches have done their part and now tomorrow it will be up to us to do our part”, she said.

Her assistant Joy Wafula also bore the same sentiments saying that they will not let Kenyans down tomorrow.

“We do not fear Nigeria and we promise Kenyans that we will not let them down tomorrow. We urge them to come out and give us support because it is through them that we will get our morale”, she confidently said.
