STATPAK Tennis Junior Open set for serve off

Tennis enthusiasts will be treated to a busy weekend with options to chose from, either the ongoing Nairobi international junior championships 1  at the Nairobi club or the Statpak junior open 2012  which starts on Thursday 9th February to Sunday 12th February at the parklands sports club.

This is the 4th tournament of the search for a champion series, a Kenya Lawn Tennis Association KLTA ranking event that has attracted players from Kisumu, Thika, Mombasa and Nairobi.

According to tournament referee Duncan Njuguna, all the necessary preparation are complete to ensure a successful tournament.

“We commence with the 8 under boys and girls round robin event on Thursday February 9th at 4.00pm, all participants in this category are required at parklands sports club venue to sign in by 2:00PM, referee brief and subsequent play” he said

The 4 day event is sponsored by Statpak Industries Ltd and is the 4th tournament in the search for a champion series 2012.
