Updated on 07/02/12  |    By KOLLO NABISWA

Collins Injera, the Wellington Sevens top try scorer, is upbeat that Kenya will have a successful outing in Las Vegas. In an interview with IRB, Injera expressed optimism that they will carry their day to winning ways to Las Vegas where they are lined up to meet England, Scotland and Brazil.

He also attributed Kenya’s return to form to the inclusion of seasoned players. “They have been a massive booster to the squad as they are good motivators,” he said.

He rued their loss to Canada terming it is as “very painful and sad event.” Kenya was supposed to win that match so as to proceed to Main Cup quarters in Wellington. They lost the other group march to France and beat Australia.

Las Vegas games kick off on Saturday morning (Kenyan time) and will run till early hours of Monday.
