Ulinzi Handball dislodged overnight League Leaders Strathmore University after a labored win over 8th placed Bucaneers 23-21 in the last match of the day played at the Nyayo National Stadium. Ulinzi and Madaraka based Strathmore University are equal on Points separated by goal difference.

Nairobi Water maintained their grip at the summit of the women’s table brushing aside Thika road based Kenyatta University 39-11.

The win gives Nairobi Water ladies 6 points having Scored 145 Goals and only allowed in 31. NCPB women on the other hand narrowly lost to Nanyuki Women 26-27 in a fierce contested played on Sunday.

Playing only their Second match NCPB loss meant they squandered an opportunity to close the gap on their arch rivals Nairobi Water.
