Temporal setback as Ayub Timbe is loaned out

Kenyan International Ayub Timbe will have to wait a little longer to play in the Chinese Super League, the top League in China, after he was loaned out to Hilongjiang Lava Spring Football Club.

Just like last season, Timbe will now play in the second tier China League One or Chinese Jia League.

Timbe joined Beijing Renhe FC from Belgian side Lierse on February last year and went to establish himself as one of the club’s dependable player.

He was instrumental in the Beijing Renhe FC’s promotion to the top league last season as he bagged eight goals and several assists thus  earning praise from his teammates but an injury forced him out at the tail end of the season.

It will be a repeat pattern for Timbe again as his new club seeks to build on his experience to earn promotion to the top league.Only last week, Timbe announced he was fit as a fiddle from the injury and was raring to go in the Chinese Super League.

Founded on August 25, 2014 Heilongjiang Lava Spring Football Club is owned by Heilongjiang Volcanic Springs Green Natural Mineral Water Co., Ltd and play their matches at the 50,000 capacity ICE Center Stadium.

The club earned promotion to the Second tier after winning 2017 China League Two division.
