Starlets humble Uganda to qualify for CECAFA  Semis

Kenya's Harambee Starlets have qualified for the women CECAFA Semi finals after defeating Uganda 3-0.

Kenya's women soccer team Harambee Starlets  have qualified for the semi finals of the ongoing 2019 CECAFA Senior women championships in Tanzania.

The Kenyan girls  qualified as group B winner with maximum points after humbling Uganda 3-0 in their final group match on Thursday.

Goals by Mercy Airo in the 8th minute , Mwanahalima Adams in the 19th minute and a late penalty by Jentrix Shikangwa were enough to  cruise Kenya to the semis.

Starlets will next take on Burundi in the semis on Saturday afternoon in a chase for the slot to the finals. The other semi final will see defending champions and hosts Tanzania take on Uganda.
