Sofapaka win, AFC Leopards and Mathare held

AFC Leopards let a 2-0 first half-lead slip and it turn allowed Nakumatt FC collect a point in a Kenyan Premier League Match played at the Machakos Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Midfielder Whyvonne Isuza gave AFC leopards an early lead and followed it up with another goal for his brace in the 35th minute to give Ingwe fans hopes of ending their winless streak.

But wasted chances by Ingwe gave Nakumatt a chance to crawl back with their efforts paying off  in the second period when Eugene Ambulwa pulled  one back then Brian Nyakan found space to tap in the equalizer in the last quarter of the game.

Sofapaka 2-1 Zoo Kericho

At the Narok Stadium, Sofapaka rallied from  a goal down to beat Zoo Kericho 2-1.In-form Mike Madoya broke the deadlock in the 12th minute but Sofapaka levelled seven minutes later through Humprey Okoti.

Stephen Waruru grabbed the winner in the 55th minute to push Batoto ba Mungu’s tally to 24 points and fourth in the SportPesa League standings.

Mathare United 0-0 Bandari United

In an early kick off at Machakos, second placed Mathare United squandered a good chance to narrow the gap with league leaders Gor Mahia after settling for a barren draw with  Bandari.
