Police Cross Country: Kamworor makes it eight in a row, Chelangat wins again

Kamworor led from start to finish, clocking a time of 29 minutes 22.3 seconds in his first competitive race since a freak accident last October

Geoffrey Kamworor's dominance of the men's race at the Police Cross Country championship continued on Friday 29 January 2021 when he raced to his eighth successive title at Nairobi's Ngong Racecourse.

He led from start to finish, clocking a time of 29 minutes 22.3 seconds in his first competitive race since a freak accident last October. Josephat Kipkoech came second in a time of 29:52.6 with Casius Masinde claiming third in a time of 30:13.0.

Sheila Chelangat took first place in the women's race in a time of  33 minutes 34.5 seconds while Hyvin Kiyeng came home second in a time of 33:39.5 followed by Edith Chelimo in third place in a time of 33:40.5.
