Pipeline win Bronze in Tunis

Kenya Pipeline won Bronze at the just concluded Africa Women volleyball club championships held in  Tunisia.

Pipeline  overcame Rwanda's  Revenue Authority  3-1 (23- 25, 25-14, 25- 22 , 25- 17) in the third place playoffs match having crashed out of the main competition with a 3-1 loss to host club Carthage.

Pipeline finished in second spot last year in Cairo having lost to Egyptian side Al Ahly  in the finals.

Egyptian side Al Ahly defeated hosts Carthage of Tunisia to successfully retain the title they won last year. They defeated Carthage 3-2 (25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-13) in the competition final held at Sidi Bousaid in Tunis, Tunisia on Saturday.

The team is expected to land back in Nairobi on Monday.
