The Kenya Pipeline Corporation will on Wednesday host a luncheon in honor of their women volleyball team who are the  champions of the Kenya National Volleyball league.

The win over their fierce rivals Kenya Prisons during the national playoffs held in Mombassa last November  saw Kenya Pipeline retain the league for the third year in a row while Kenya Prisons dethroned General Service Unit a(GSU) for the men's title.

Currently coached by Japheth Munala and former International Margaret Indagala, Pipeline remain as one of the most successful volleyball teams in Africa with seven continental titles  in 1995 (Kenya), 1996 (Nigeria), 1999 (Tunisia), 2001 (Algeria), 2002 (Senegal), 2004 (Senegal), 2005 (Algeria)
