Otieno responds to CAF decision
Football Kenya Federation CEO Barry Otieno has responded to the decision by CAF to ban him and Ronny Oyando from CAF related football activities for six months.
Otieno said,"I have just learnt about the allegations and will be consulting internally on the next steps."
"Nonetheless, I wish to state that everyone who was present, during the incident, including the Match Commissioner, know that what has been alleged is not true. That notwithstanding, CAF has made a decision and as a member we will comply with it."
Otieno and Oyando were banned for COVID19 violations during Kenya's AFCON qualifier away to Comoros in November 2020. The FKF was further fined US$ 20,000 (Ksh 2.2 million) for the duo's indiscretions.
