Onsomu Handed Maiden Call Up As Simbas Depart For Brazil

Resolution Impala Saracens scrum half Samson Onsomu is in line for his Simbas debut after making Jerome Paarwater’s 23 man squad that will face Brazil in the Northern Brazilian town of Macapá on Friday 17 June 2016.

Onsomu, a former Kenya Sevens international, replaces Lyle Asiligwa who is unavailable for this clash. . Max Adaka  misses out on the trip as he recovers from the injury sustained in the Elgon Cup first leg win away to Uganda on Saturday 4 June 2016, a match the Simbas won 48-10.

Curtis Lilako,Moses Amusala, Isaac Adimo, Edwin Achayo and Vincent  Mose who all featured when Kenya posted a 27-25 win over the Os Tupis  on Friday 10 December 2011 have all in been included in the travelling party.
