Muguna takes home 2016 KPL player of the year award

Western Stima’s Kenneth Muguna is the new Kenyan Premier League player of the season.

Muguna beat a strong field that also had Tusker midfielder Humphrey Mieno, Ulinzi Stars’ forward John Mark Makwata and Gor Mahia’s Eric Ouma to bag the award that was accompanied by One million shillings cash prize.

Muguna was also named as the best midfielder of the season ahead of Tusker’s Humphrey Mieno and Whyvone Isuza of Mathare United.

Posta Rangers’ custodian Patrick Matasi was named as the best goalkeeper of the season.
