Mercy Moim tips Prisons to reclaim title

Finland based Kenyan international Mercy Moim has predicted  a tough final  at this year's national league playoffs to be staged in Mombasa this weekend.

While speaking to michezoafrika.com from her training base in Finland, the Kenyan international  said she has all confidence in her Kenyan  Prisons team mates as they have shown immense growth and consistency throughout the season.

Prisons lost the title to  domestic rivals Kenya Pipeline last year going down 3-0 in the finals played at the same Makande Hall in Mombasa , but Moim believes the team has the pedigree to bounce back to  glory this year.

"The young players in the team have fused well with the experienced ones and this has given the team some fresh energy seen throughout the season. They have all been in good form showing consistency and thirst for greatness. I wish them all the best as they take on the other respected teams."

At the same time , Moim has sent out a message of condolence to her team mate Lydia Maiyo who has lost her mum, " I know how hard it can be losing a loved one and I wish them God's strength at this difficult times."

Kenya Pipeline and Kenya Prisons men are the defending champions of the league having won the last edition of the playoffs held at the same Makande Hall in 2014.
