Malkia Strikers to resume training

There will be no resting for  national women  volleyball team players as they will be required to report to camp immediately after landing back in  Nairobi from their club duties in Tunis.

The team  will commence full time preparation for the forthcoming busy season where they head to Puerto Rico, Argentina and Poland for the Olympic qualifiers and the World Grand Prix respectively.

The team has been boosted by the return of two key players Brackcides Khadambi and Janet Wanja who missed the Africa direct qualifying slot in Cameroon earlier in the year

The arrival of other foreign based stars  including captain Mercy Moim who was recently attached to Orpo in Finland , Jane Wacu , Evelyne Makuto and Esther Wangeci all from France is an additional boost to the team.

Kenya will face hosts Puerto Rico , Colombia and Algeria in the fight for the only remaining Olympic slot and thereafter head to Argentina for the first round of the Group 2 World Grand Prix.
