The National women volleyball team departs Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International, Airport  on Tuesday 17th May 2016 at  23:59 aboard KLM  for  Schipol Airport Amsterdam.

After a two hour stop over in Amsterdam  the 17 member team will connect to  John F Kennedy Intl, airport  in New York NY - USA aboard Delta Airline  landing in New York on Wednesday 11:45. This flight will last 8 hours 15 minutes.

From  New York,  the team will then take another 4 hour flight to Luiz Munoz Marin Intl, San Juan PR - U.S arriving  at 19:02 (PR time)

In Puerto Rico , the Malkia Strikers  play three matches against the host team Puerto Rico, Colombia and Algeria. The winning team from this FIVB tournament will book the remaining ticket to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

After the action in Puerto Rico, the Malkia Strikers  will depart from the Luiz Munoz Marin Intl, San Juan PR - U.S on 23rd May for Buenos Aires Argentina for a training camp ahead of the FIVB Group Two World Grand Prix that starts on 3rd of June in Tucuman Argentina.

In Argentina, Kenya has been drawn in Pool A2 alongside Argentina , Bulgaria and Dominican Republic.

 After Argentina , the team will then fly to Poland for the next Group D2 Matches where they will face Argentina , Poland and Puerto Rico.

Other teams in World Grand Prix Group 2 are Czech Republic and Canada.
