Koranga inspires Troy in Texas tournament

Koranga is a younger sister of Morans powerhouse forward Ariel Okal. Their father, Elijah Koranga played soccer for army side Scarlet and the national team, Harambee Stars.

Kenya's Felmas Koranga was in fine form,picking up a 10th double-double of the season with 16 points and a career-high 19 rebounds as her Troy Trojans team built in a 21-8 overtime performance to advance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a 103-90 victory over Texas State this past weekend.

The victory advanced the Trojans to the tournament semifinals where they will meet App State for the fifth time this season.
