Kerr upbeat as Hull arrive in town
English Premier League side Hull City have arrived in Nairobi ahead of their Hull City Vs Gor Mahia match to be played at Kasarani.
Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr is pleased with his team’s opportunity to play English Championship side Hull City in a friendly on Sunday and he hopes the opportunity will present his players with a chance to learn and grow.
Gor got the chance to play the English opponents after beating AFC Leopards in a one legged play-off. Hull arrived in the country on Friday night.
“It is a great opportunity for them to learn and show the qualities they have. Hull is a very good team and they have brought in a good squad as well. We have been looking at their strengths and weaknesses and we know it will be a tough game,” Kerr noted.
“They have also watched us I understand and that means they are taking this match very seriously,” added the coach.
He has also hinted that he will give all his players an opportunity to play, having done the same last year when they faced Everton in Tanzania, save for two players.
“All these players have worked very hard and deserve to get that chance to show what they have. I felt bad last year because two did not play against Everton but this time, we will mix up the squad and give opportunity to all,” added the British coach.
