The atmosphere at the Kasarani indoor gymnasium will be heated up this afternoon when Kenya takes on Rwanda in a final match of the Five Nations U-23 Africa Cup championships.

This  match will  decide who joins group leaders Egypt for the 2017 World Junior championships in Slovenia.

With two wins each , Kenya , coached by former Kenyan international Catherine Mabwi and Rwanda under another former Kenyan  international Paul Bitok will be out for a win  to secure  the ticket.

The match serves off at 4:00PM local time and Rwanda comes into the match with a charged momentum having defeated Botswana 3-0 on Wednesday.

Both teams have lost to Africa title favorites Egypt who will take on Botswana in an earlier match at the same venue.

"But playing Kenya is tough always. It's not easy to play with your home country especially people who have been close to u . I really like our Kenyan players and it's so unfortunate that I will be looking for the same ticket. I have nothing but to wish my sister's all the best and may the best team win." says Rwanda coach Paul Bitok in a pre match interview with michezoafrika.com
