Kenya's Malkia Strikers are a match away from the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo.This is after the Kenyan Queens held their nerves on Tuesday to humble hosts and defending Africa Olympic representatives Cameroon in a crucial five set thriller.
Guided by Former Kenyan international Paul Bitok,Kenya is seeking a return to the Olympic games after a 15 year wait and the 3-2 (25-16,23-25,25-21,23-25,15-11) win is an inch closer to Tokyo.
Having trounced rivals Egypt and Botswana in their earlier matches , Kenya now have Nigeria on their way and a win against the West African side on Thursday will guarantee the team the African ticket to the Olympics.
