Kenya rise after 4th place finish in Cape Town

Kenya collected 15 points in Cape town last weekend   during the second leg of the IRB Sevens series having finished in 4th place.

The performance saw Kenya move up on the IRB Standings to  settle at position 9 with  20 points .

Kenya staged one of the best performances in Capetown that included defeating host team the Blitzbloke of South Africa on home soil before edging USA in the quarter finals.

Kenya qualified top of Pool B with wins over South Africa and Zimbabwe while drawing 19-19 against England.
