Former Africa Champions Kenya Prisons  opened their Africa women club championship campaign on a losing note  falling 3-1 (25-14, 25- 21, 18-25, 25-16) to defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt  as the championships entered the second day on Friday in Monastir Tunisia.

The five time champions -Prison- were shaking in the opening set  allowing the Egyptian side to run away with an under 15 first set win .

Though they pushed the  record title holders to a 4th set with a third set triumph , Prison  failed to hold the steam through the match as they lost the final set 25-16 to blow chances of leading Pool B.

Prison will play their second match on Saturday against Marsa of Tunisia.
